You can help empower women and advance gender equality around the world by volunteering your time, expertise and energy right here on the Gulf Coast.

You are welcome to choose to participate in one of our ongoing programs or help on one of our special events.

Here are just some of the many opportunities to join with other Gulf Coast members in supporting the international community of women.

Recruit new chapter members as part of our Membership Committee

Help staff our International Women's Day Celebration on March 8, 2010

Obtain sponsorships for our programs and events as a member of the Fund Development Committee

Support the education and leadership training of high school girls participating in our Learners to Leaders program

Lend your expertise in marketing communications, media relations, public speaking, database management or graphic design to help get the word out on UNIFEM and our chapter to our members and our community
