National Capital Chapter

The National Capital Chapter is one of ten chapters in the United States working to support the US National Committee's mission of “working toward a world where women live free from violence, poverty and inequality”.

Together with UNIFEM/USNC, the National Capital Chapter raises funds and awareness to support UNIFEM’s projects around the world, enhancing women's economic and security rights, ending violence against women, reducing the prevalence of HIV/AIDS among women and girls, and advancing gender justice in democratic governance in stable and fragile states.
